The ITCO International Trade and Commerce Olympiad is an open competition for students under 21 years.

The Competition is free to all students for Round 1: Open Examination. Outstanding participants will be recognized and will be invited to the Round 2 of the competition.
​
Examination Format will be conducted through objective-type (Multiple Choice) questions, extended response questions, and free response questions. All questions are in English.

ITCO 2024 will be taken online within a time-limited test software. Exams will be collectively performed per region shortly after registration. Key dates & Subsequent actions will be announced/delivered through email.

01: Open Round
Open Round will be available to all economic, accounting, history, and commerce enthusiast students worldwide for free.
02: Invitational
The Highest achieving participants from the Invitational Examination will be invited to write the Global Final Examinatio. Medals, Prizes, and recognition will be awarded to top contestants of competition.

ITCO Awards & Certification will be available for every round of participation. Global Finals awards will be delivered physically to the participant. Award distribution is as follows
Top 35% of Round - Bronze Standing
Top 15% of Round- Silver Standing
Top 5% of Round- Gold Standing

Certificates and Prizes will be in the form of Cash, Reference, and Physical Rewards sent to the highest achieving Participants. Certificates will be available to all Participants within Bronze, Silver, and Gold Category PER ROUND.

Top Achieving Participants will be invited to leadership positions to ITCO Partners across the world, including but not limited to the Future ITCO Committee. ITCO values new leaders to support future iterations.
1. Scope and Application
This code of conduct aims to provide guidelines for behaviour to ensure a respectful, fair, and inclusive environment for all participants, organisers, and stakeholders involved in the Olympiad.
2. Scope
This code applies to all participants, volunteers, organisers, judges, sponsors, and anyone else involved in the Olympiad activities, both online and offline.
3. General Conduct
- Treat all individuals with respect, dignity, and fairness. The ITCO Committee strictly adheres to integrity and respect.
- Appreciate diversity in all its forms, including race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or political beliefs. Hateful language, speech, and responses will be disqualified from final consideration.
- Avoid any form of harassment, bullying, discrimination, or any other behaviour that could be perceived as offensive. Participants in violation will be disqualified and may be prevented from future examinations.
4. Plagiarism, Cheating, and Plagiarism.
- Engage in all Olympiad activities with honesty and integrity. All participant responses will be evaluated to prevent cheating and outside support.
- Do not engage in fraud, cheating, or any other dishonest behaviour that undermines the integrity of the examination. The ITCO Committee reserves the right to suspend, remove, and prevent participants for integrity misconduct.
5. Compliance:
- Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by the ITCO Committee. Failure to adhere to competition rules will result in Participant’s disqualification.
- Comply with local laws and regulations at the Olympiad venue or when participating virtually.
- Immediately report any incidents or conduct that violates this code of conduct to the organisers.
6. Conflict Resolution:
- Address any conflicts or disputes peacefully and respectfully.
- Seek the assistance of Olympiad organisers to mediate and resolve disputes when necessary.
- Maintain a collaborative and problem-solving approach towards conflict resolution.
Enforcement:
Violations of this code of conduct may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to disqualification from the competition, exclusion from future events, and revocation of awards. The ITCO Committee reserves the right to take appropriate action to ensure the safety, comfort, and integrity of the Olympiad environment.
This code of conduct is intended to foster a positive experience for all participants alike in the International Trade and Commerce Olympiad. Adherence to these guidelines is mandatory and failure to comply will result in disciplinary action.
